These terms set out the rules for using Inner Circle. By creating an account or browsing the site you agree to everything listed below.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to Inner Circle at innercircle-ai.com. By using the site or creating an account you agree to be bound by them.
2. Definitions
In these terms, Inner Circle means the service and its operator; member means a registered user; companion means an interactive character offered within the service; content means any material submitted or displayed.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction. Access by minors is prohibited.
4. Nature of the service
Inner Circle offers conversational entertainment with fictional companions. Companions are characters, not real people, and nothing exchanged with them constitutes professional advice.
5. Account registration
You agree to provide accurate registration details and to keep them up to date. One person may not operate multiple accounts to evade limits or restrictions.
6. Account security
You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Inner Circle for unlawful purposes, harassment of staff, distribution of malware, or any attempt to disrupt the service.
8. Prohibited content
You must not submit content that is illegal, that depicts minors in any sexual context, that promotes violence, or that infringes the rights of others. Violations result in immediate termination.
9. Automated access
Scraping, crawling, bulk downloading, reverse engineering and the use of unauthorised automated clients are not permitted.
10. Interference
Attempting to bypass rate limits, security controls, paywalls or authentication mechanisms is a material breach of these terms.
11. Your content licence
You retain ownership of what you submit. You grant Inner Circle a limited licence to store and process that content strictly for the purpose of operating the service.
12. Our intellectual property
The Inner Circle name, branding, page design, written copy, imagery and companion profiles are protected and may not be reproduced without written permission.
13. Imagery notice
Visuals used across Inner Circle depict fictional characters and are produced for illustrative purposes. No depiction is intended to represent a real, identifiable individual.
14. Free access
Some features are available without payment. Free access may be modified, limited or withdrawn at any time.
15. Paid features
Where paid features are offered, prices, inclusions and billing intervals are displayed before purchase and you authorise the charge when you confirm it.
16. Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled beforehand through your account settings.
17. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals and access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
18. Refunds
Except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise, payments for periods already started are non-refundable.
19. Price changes
We may adjust prices for future billing periods. Members are notified in advance and may cancel before the new price takes effect.
20. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting support may lead to suspension of the account pending review.
21. Availability
Inner Circle is provided on an as-available basis. Maintenance, upgrades and events beyond our control may cause temporary interruptions.
22. Changes to the service
Features, companions and interface elements may be added, altered or retired as the service develops.
23. Third-party services
The service relies on third-party hosting, payment and delivery providers. Their terms apply to the parts of the experience they operate.
24. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, presents a security risk, or is used for fraudulent payments.
25. Termination by you
You may close your account at any time from your settings. Closure removes access to stored conversations.
26. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Inner Circle is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
27. Limitation of liability
Inner Circle is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount paid in the twelve months before the claim.
28. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Inner Circle against claims arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
29. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable at the place of establishment of the operator, without regard to conflict of law rules.
30. Severability and updates
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. We may update these terms and will revise the date shown on this page when we do.
